These memories and the photographs containing them are the artwork of our lives.

My approach.

Today, the demands of life cause us to move at a speed we’re not made for. Have answers that are not revealed to us yet. And in all we carry, find a way to make life work. How do we do that? By journeying, together. Searching for a photographer is tough (and at times vague), so let me make an attempt to release some of the pressure from your wedding day valve.

Before you looked each other in the eyes and said, “I love you“ without saying a word.

Before he dropped down to one knee and you began to cry.

Invest in yourself.

I take inspiration from how “real people” want to be treated (with dignity and respect) and integrate it into my process. Isn’t it a good day when you look at an image that makes you laugh or feel something you didn’t know was there? Imagine how a bride might feel cultivating a different sense of self-love surrounded by images of her wedding day. Clarifying my approach allows me to understand who and what I create for–making timeless artwork of real value.

You put in the time and built a bond that roars, blooms, crashes, shakes, and radiates for the world to see.

Living your truth long before the commitment to be life partners forever and a day. It all began when you first met. What I capture is your experience in everything you are now and hope to become.

General Questions

Some clarity around questions I've been asked to support you in your decision.

I post a small sneak preview collection in the days after your wedding. The full collection of all your images are ready in 4-8 weeks for weddings and 2-3 weeks for portraits and engagement photos. Most events I shoot have a 1 to 2 day turnaround time based upon the contract agreement. You’ll get a link to your gallery for proofing and downloading.

Open the “Photography Style” tab on this page to learn more.

The number of images can vary by session, time, and event. For weddings, a collection will typically be between 200 – 650 well-curated images. Engagement collections typically have up to 25 curated images or more.

Definitely. If you resonate with my work and think I’ll be a fit to document your big day or need, I’m always up for a trip.

Yes. To make things even easier, I walk through options on our journey and will hand-deliver whatever you choose to get printed. A print release comes along with any collection or set of images I photograph if you prefer to print them on your own.

I love the Canon Full-Frame body and shoot with two cameras at the ready. If you want to geek out about technology, I’m all for a conversation.

If there’s one thing that’s for sure, it’s that nobody is seeing the exact same thing as you when people look at photos on the internet. Most screens are too bright or have the default open-box color setting applied. As the monitor or screen gets older, the colors change as well. This is where Signature Processing comes in. Every monitor I edit my photos on are calibrated with a device that gives you the best true-to-life color as possible. They also will replicate consistently when taken to the printer or used on large format surfaces.

What I wear is not only a reflection of myself, but also a reflection of you. I’ll tend to bend towards the more tasteful, GQ-side of apparel. Fitted vest, white or colored button-up, dress pants, and shoes or leather boots.

I shoot in RAW in order to draw out the maximum potential of every shot I take. This usually will entail starting with correcting white balance and I make more and more adjustments from there. There is retouching done in photoshop to ensure the quality I work for, but it is never overdone. If you have specific concerns that you want addressed, we’ll discuss it in our meetings leading up to your wedding or event.

Yes. “When you need it the most, that’s when it’ll fail.” I heard this all the time when I used to work in the photography department at Best Buy and when my hard drives failed a few years ago, I learned from that experience. Working with me means you have your files safely stored locally (solid state hard drives) and secured in the cloud. I believe if you have one backup, you have no backups.
