Earlier this year, I had the honor of sitting down with Erika and Alex at Penny’s to talk about their love stories, engagement, and wedding photography needs. They are two amazing professionals in the Minneapolis area whose love story didn’t begin in the land of 10,000 lakes, but will pen an amazing chapter of it in the next few months.
They met fall semester taking classes in a required arts credit at Indiana University. History of Rock and Roll I. It was a month or two into the course and Alex plops right next to Erika in class one day and asks, “Hey, is this seat taken?” Erika had Twizzlers with her that day and she decided to share a few sticks with him. Who knew such a simple moment would bring them so far?
We had many stops on our engagement session. Starting in Saint Paul at Como Park Zoo and Observatory then eventually making our way down to St. Anthony and Main to hit up Stone Arch Bridge and take in some of the scenes. They’ll be getting married on September 28, 2019 at The Hall of Kings Jefe Urban Hacienda and I got the invite to join them again to capture their big day. Until I finish their wedding collection, enjoy a few of their moments I captured on that day.
